Waiheke Escapes is a division of Auckland Property Management which aims to deliver professional services to its clients, with a sole focus on Waiheke Holiday accommodation.
As E-commerce Manager, I planned and executed all marketing activities, including on-site merchandising, affiliate marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing and title-based/seasonal promotional offers. Reviewed web analytics, developed recommendations for campaign optimization and implemented these recommendations directly or via vendor partners. Given the 24/7 nature of online shopping, I have worked irregular hours and be on call to handle any issues that arise. My role also often collaborate with content developers, fellow businesses such as Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com and customers.
General duties included website design, market research, budgeting, training new recruits, supervising the e-commerce division, and presenting project designs to top management.
Achievements

• Responsible for site analytics and testing to drive growth for e-commerce KPIs. Used a/b testing to drive 22% improvement in site conversion. Improved user engagement through detailed analytics and user testing.
• Advanced Funnels experience including actionetics algorithm, created funnel design including offer creation, and then build that funnel from scratch. Funnel builds included the page design, copywriting, creating graphics, calls-to-action and all software integrations that work natively with ClickFunnels.
• Managed Waiheke escapes site redesign to improve brand messaging, engage new users, and improve conversion. Resulted in 19% increase in AOV, 8% increase in visit duration, and 3% decrease in bounce rate.
• Built relationships with vendors to manage all e-commerce technology partners. Integrated several third-party technologies: site search, email marketing, and testing software.
• Increased OTA revenue 350+% during a 1-year period for all properties.

• Increasing Revenue through Gift Card Sales. Run a very successful gift certificate program that will allow customers to send either emailed or mailed gift certificates, which can then be redeemed in the by booking online. Gift certificates account for 32% of their revenue
